My name is Alla. I am a mother of two beautiful boys. They challenge and delight me, and make me a better human. 

While I was pregnant with my first child I took a childbirth class that helped me understand what I wanted for my birth and how I can achieve it. A woman who taught this class was a doula. I am very grateful for our encounter and her impact on my life. She helped me to unfold my perception of birth as well as my role and involvement in it. I had a wonderful birth experience, not without challenges, but in a peaceful environment, with great respect to all my wishes. My life was forever changed by my birth experiences.

 Women should birth where they are safe and it might be a different place for different women. Every family deserves to experience the transcendence that accompanies having a great birth experience.

Every birth and every client teaches me something new. It is a continuous learning experience. I’ve been always very curious about “how things work” and finding patterns (math, physics, biology and art were my favorite subjects in school). Birth provides an endless fascination with the environment where things are often unpredictable, yet there are common patterns.
